Wheaton Kitchen & Powder Room Renovation – #DesaQueenswood
With entering into the new year, it seems fitting to talk about renewal and change.
In this Wheaton townhome, we focused on renewing traditional styled areas to give our clients a more open concept with increased functionality and updated finishes.
To maximize kitchen cabinetry, the garage entry door was relocated to the office area, we removed the wall separating the office and dinette, and opened the wall between the Kitchen and Family Room. This was key as our client wanted to be able to cook in the kitchen while keeping an eye on the little one while playing.
The kitchen now features a large pantry with rollout shelving, an eat-in breakfast bar for additional seating, and a much more functional layout than the client was used to. The original tile flooring in the Foyer, Kitchen, and Powder Room was replaced with hardwood to match the rest of the main level refinished which was then refinished to a current stain color. The Powder Room redesign stands on its own with a whimsical transformation using a stencil to paint the walls. Take a look at how the renovation has given new life to #DesaQueenswood!
