In most applications, plant ledges are a thing of the past. What do you put up there? How to get up there to clean? When you do get up there to clean, how do you get rid of the footprints from getting up there to clean? So many questions…
Before
In working with a client that had just moved into a new construction home, they had the same questions. We explored various ideas before we settled on a winner. The design consisted of the custom ledge to ceiling cabinets made to minimize the dusting footprint and added interest with a gold metallic wallcovering and black decorative screen and faux tall grasses. Overlapping metallic hides and a beautiful sculpture made from a cedar tree and finished with a burnt application completed the look. It all feels intentional. We’ve had several inquiries from previous posts about this project so thought we’d share the before and after. What are your thoughts?
Thank you.
Great post!
